How Grams Left Handles Your Data
A plain-English overview of what we collect, where it goes, and what we never share. Because you deserve to know exactly what happens to your tracking data.
Where Your Data Goes
A simple look at what data Grams Left collects, where it is stored, which processors handle specific functions, and — crucially — what is not disclosed outside the service.
What We Collect
Where It Is Stored
Your data is stored in a database at the edge, encrypted in transit and at rest. Backups are stored in Cloudflare R2 for disaster recovery (30-day rolling retention).
Processors (Limited, Function-Specific Access)
Not Disclosed to External Recipients
This data stays in your account. It is never sent to analytics, never used for advertising, and never shared with clinics, pharmacies, employers, or insurers.
Data Retention
How long we keep each type of data, and when it is deleted.
| Data Type | Retained | Deleted |
|---|---|---|
| Account email | While account active | On account deletion |
| Consumption logs | While account active | On account deletion |
| Stock / balance data | While account active | On account deletion |
| Subscription status | As required by Stripe | Per Stripe policy |
| Backups | 30 days rolling | Automatic |
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deletion removes your data from our active database immediately. Daily backups are retained for up to 30 days for disaster recovery.
